What is included in the basic card price?
The basic price includes the cards printed inside with black text which can include a standard greeting, your name, company and address details along with the Charity acknowledgement. Cards are supplied flat but creased ready for signature along with high quality white envelopes.
Can I have a sample?
Yes. We are happy to send up to 5 sample cards to assist you in making a choice. Simply collect the designs that interest you in your shortlist. Check the boxes of the cards you would like samples of and click the request samples button. You will then be asked to enter your address details and the samples will be posted to you the same day.
What greeting will appear inside the cards?
Kingsmead offers a choice of four standard greetings and three standard typefaces. These are illustrated on the OVERPRINTING DETAILS page and on the order form. Alternatively you can create your own greeting for £15.
Do the cards show the Charity Logo?
Yes, a charity acknowledgement will appear at the bottom of page 2 (left page of inside) as standard. This is supplied by the charity and is illustrated on the order form exactly as it will appear in the cards. This typically shows the Charity logo, address details and registered charity number. Please contact us on (01372) 459579 if you wish to support charity but would like the acknowledgement left off the cards.
Will "from" be printed beneath the greeting?
On the order form there is a box for any details you would like printed beneath the greeting. The first line has the word "from" already entered. This will be printed inside the cards if you leave it there. If you do not wish "from" to appear please delete it as requested.
Where can I have the cards personalised?
The card price includes personalisation in black ink inside the cards. The order form has boxes for below the greeting and at the bottom left, centre and right of page 3 of the cards. This is normally where people wish the personalisation to appear. However we are happy to print deatils anywhere inside the cards or even on the front of some designs. Can we have our logo printed inside the cards?
YES. LOGOS and SIGNATURES can be included. There is an additional charge of £20 for inclusion of a black and white logo or signature. Colour logos can also be included. Again we make a charge of £20 for handling of artwork. Please see below for colour charges.
Can the cards be printed in colour?
YES. We can print in CMYK or PANTONE colours. If you would like your personalisation to appear in your corporate colours please supply pantone references or a printed sample (such as a letterhead) for us to match. One colour printing in an ALTERNATIVE colour to black costs £25. ADDITIONAL COLOURS (printing in colour as well as black) cost £25 plus 12p per card per colour
Can I choose more than one design?
If you want the same printing inside the cards and you choose cards that are all the same shape and size we can process mixes of a small number of designs as a single order (subject to a maximum of three different designs). If the cards you select are different shapes or sizes then each will need to be treated as a separate order.
How long do the cards take to print and deliver?
Please allow 10 days for delivery of black personalisation and 14 days for colour. Please remember to order early if you need to meet overseas posting deadlines.
What postage category do the cards fall into?
All our cards conform to the new 'LETTER' classification and fall into the lowest Royal Mail postal rate.
Can the cards be personalised on the front?
Within our card range are several cards that can be personalised on the front. We can personalise in either foil or litho inks. There are some restrictions so please contact us by email or by telephone on 01372 459579 for further details.
Why do some designs appear more than once?
We offer a number of cards either on our standard board (in which case the reference number will start with a K) or on high quality recycled board (see below) (in which case the reference number will start with an R)
Are cards available on recycled board?
All our paper, card and envelope products originate from managed forests with authenticated programmes of sustainability under the international environmental standard ISO 14001
A number of designs are available on a new high quality board made including 50% recycled post consumer waste. These cards can be identified by having a R as the first letter in the card reference.

Can you deliver to non UK mainland addresses?
The basic delivery charge covers UK mainland addresses. We are able to deliver overseas and have a number of delivery options. Please email us at info@kingsmead.com for a specific quotation.
